spider glass

spider glass

A Poem by AKhaus

kind and warm before the storm.
the ominous sky shaking.
rain falling from my eyes and she has left me in the silence of this.
utter emptiness and painful memories, she has left me in the wake of this.
carved into pieces and scattered mindlessly on the ground, she left me as the forgotten in the carnage of this.
how eyes can lie and hearts murder, she left me, she left me but never left the room.
she walked away without leaving, she left me because of me.
the reality that she had such disdain for my existence to remain, to stay and let me rot slowly is inhumane.
and then I have the endless mournful rants, but it will never change the fact that she left me because of me.
she left without ever moving from my sight, she left and the coldness of her presence froze me still.
