in the night

in the night

A Poem by AKhaus

whimsical shadows which form in the night as the moon's glow brings them to life.
echos of the train pounding its' tracks as the coal bellows from iron nostrils of hardened travels.
chirping crickets and slow cool winds changing the leaves from upside, downside, left and right.
cold grass and wet ground, every foot mark left only merely have a sound.
dilated black centers filling the iris, flush against the green rims.
the world filled with dark green, filled with chaos of the nocturnal.
the lack of light brings forth a certain might of spirit which is free as the night speaks to me.
