sweet caledonia

sweet caledonia

A Poem by AKhaus

my sweetest caledonia, how you spring from the ground so thick with rock.
you come in my dreams from a foreign land, you take my heart and leave me bleeding where I stand.
winter falls in your shadows, dead leaves left behind in your steps.
to taste your lips is the nectar flowing from a heavenly abyss, an exquisite waterfall.
my sweetest caledonia, do you know what I speak?
what I thought was gone has come to life again, all for the chance to see your face, my beautiful caledonia.
