treason

treason

A Poem by AKhaus

they say we must remain the same...strength in conformity.
the square's edges razor sharp and unforgiving.
an organism whose movement defies it's truth.
a bird without wings, a fish without gills.
a people trapped by a single thought.
how can we trust ourselves in such denial?
thoughts are matter and we have congested the air with stagnation
if the water sets too long it reeks and poisons.
movement of thought, linear lines become designs and words turn to art.
the treason of your soul is death stuck in motionless complacency
we cannot be still, we must extend and change
we are never the same
