too often

too often

A Poem by AKhaus

too often we forget each other in this crowd.
too often we shame one another into acts so inhumane.
too often we walk without knowing our direction and wonder why we are here.
it is when we place responsibility on others for the things we do and despise decision in which we lose.
coexistence was never meant to be friction free.
sharing never meant for one person to feed.
when we drink, we drink together.'
when we dream, we live in those worlds together.
sacred circles are written and drawn.
the turns are endless and too often we forget how many times we've been here before, still learning the lessons we too often ignored.
