hidden dragon

A Poem by AKhaus

I can't hold you by this candle light.
My tears staining these sheets, and they will all night.
Oh my sweetest flower how the time is gone and my soul heavy.
Can you hear my heart howling for you there?
Feel me when you sleep, I am next to you always.
And as that cello soars with its delicate sound, I yearn for all of you.
Another farewell, each time the death is more painful than the last.
I'm the fool, I'm the one who lets go.
The hollowness, it is overwhelming.
How can this be?  How can my love, how can this be?
I do not want to wake, I do not want to wake anymore without you near me.
