Naked bones

Naked bones

A Poem by AKhaus

Here are my pale bones scattered, tracing the story I have yet to tell.

There my fleshless limbs lay with sorrows song and haunted grounds.

Crackling under the pressure of your stare, I am just seconds from sand and my voice is losing her sound.

This road misperceiving me, my head heavier than all the sky, and yet I continued as to hope for more even at the grave.

As the petrified erode, I soak into her comforting brown.
