magnanimous

magnanimous

A Poem by AKhaus

you want me to feel, state how I feel, display emotions I cannot conceal.
my heart is tempered by the weakest part of me sliding into your mouth.
eyes red and glassy, I cry, I cry ...for you are who I need to hold as my spirit falters under this magnanimous melody.
no greater truth, no clearer image than when my peaks collide into your caverns.
it is of concern that my words will fall to the side with less thunder than you had expected.
will I suffer from the mediocrity of fleshed existence and her mundane wheel turning to keep this gravity still.
to be yet a casualty of momentary madness, passion and desire...is this the story to be told?
I wish not to hear this doom, I hide beneath the bed from such doubts.
make my love mean more than just this, I need to be more than just this...
