surrounded by the unknown

surrounded by the unknown

A Poem by AKhaus

what mask am I wearing today?
how do I find a face that will be mine?
how will I feel comfort in the clothes I wear and the shoes I try?
parts and particles of me surrounded by the unknown.
this river's tide is eroding my sensibilities.
this comet must deviate its path and I need the turning world to stop turning.
weak and wild, tame and tumultuous.
the universe in me is bursting into a vast black hole and I am sucking everything in around me.
what will be on the other side?
more masks?
