my little secret

my little secret

A Poem by AKhaus

it is in my shadows I see you.
it is in my shadows I feel you.
when the light penetrates the air of this room you slide into that corner to rest.
each nightfall you whisper another riddle and with every sunrise the words fade into clouds.
the rain burns on my tongue and I cannot recite those lines again.
you appear in the silence and leave behind such chaos.
rattle, rattle, rattling my chains...you taunt me with false words and endless games.
you are my little secret that will never fade.

Skeletons in closets tend to make such a racket when the closet is moved or even buffeted in a draft. I think everyone can relate to this one.
