mother

mother

A Poem by AKhaus

help me fight mother, fight these demons inside.
they grow blacker by the day, festering within a golden fire and causing me such pain.
release me from these ghosts that trap my thoughts in this stark arena as they circle me with hate.
help me mother, help me find such peace as to find my world kind and with grace.
I cannot see the sky when my blood is filled with this poison.
I only see enemies, which do not exist but I make them into my company.
mother my mind is heavy and my heart empty.
I need your wise words so I can lift my head again.

It is surprising that how hard we may try to be strong when we are in distress we always miss our mother and want her presence by our side.
