Slow the crawl

Slow the crawl

A Poem by AKhaus

I don't know why i feel this way, constantly running in circles and never able to see what is in front of me.

I beg and plead for some type of reprieve from this insane chase but I am not able to change such conditions without severing a major limb.

You say there is love, then there is none, then there is something more than can be explained and yet i feel prisoned by these moments and cannot find a calming water to drift upon.

I see hope, I lose hope, I have you and I don't.

The strings stretching this heart until it is about to burst.

I have to stop, I cannot stop, I don't know how to not love you.
