river

river

A Poem by AKhaus

twilight is dancing on the water.
my tears drifting down this trail, an unyielding river of emotions.
I travel slowly but feel the rocks beneath my feet, they are slicing deep within me.
my blood mixing with this flood.
the rushing currents are overwhelming me at night.
I can't sleep with this need eating me alive.
