the howling

the howling

A Poem by AKhaus

I pull the shades back just enough to see the dust sparkle in the light
I want to see your face glistening in this, I need you to see my eyes
my soul howls...for you are my moon which hides in this lovely shade
my spirit is gasping for you to share this air with me
my sight is fixed on your motion
the sun is lowering behind the knolls and the red-orange glow traces the horizon
as that fire dips below the green I find myself taken by the night
