another language

another language

A Poem by AKhaus

she tells me what her lips will allow her
her eyes speak another language
the movements disjointed
the smile strained
too long the journey which has left her lost and without such comforts
it was a hope she had, a dream that could complete her story
just a moment could steal her away from her senses
a glance from afar
a desire in waiting
space a boundary so cruel
what a kiss could take, to take this aching
her elegance is hanging on words
hanging on thoughts that are well crafted with perfect intent
she seeks something unseen but knows it's form
a sheath to cover her as she lay sleeping, as she lay dreaming
she waits for it to surround her, to hold her still
to enter her mind and to complete what cannot be completed but only by her
