my mirror, I sometime see

my mirror, I sometime see

A Poem by AKhaus

I don't know how often I find myself here, in front of you my mirror
The world outside turns and transforms, yet my flesh, it is frozen in your frame
I scream and claw at your surface, in return you smear your love and blood across my face
It is unimaginable why you keep me from her, that lovely creature I sometime see
I sometime feel her grasping for me
I must look beyond that darkness in her eyes
I must not be deterred from her hungry fangs
She is hiding to survive and yet she is always there in front of me
A shell or a tsunami, which one is she to me
Not just one, but two
Not just fate, but the echo of you
I glide upon your curtain, falling into your glass pool until the lightning strikes the sand
That is when I fall from heaven and become trapped into that never, never land

Very deep and thoughtful. I loved the last line very much.
