just keep walking

just keep walking

A Poem by AKhaus

when the shadows take shape and scream your name,
just keep walking...
the touch of the sun upon your skin burns through you,
just keep walking...
the walls shrink and lock your mind,
just keep walking...
all the horrors visit your dreams and your love sinks below your knees,
just keep walking...
ravens circle low, the clouds grow dark and the wind howls,
just keep walking...

nothing else can take much more and you have to keep standing

you have to see beyond this time and know that peace waits for you to find

the smell of the earth wakes you as you dive into this mystical abyss

don't ever, ever forgot to just keep walking
