above the high

above the high

A Poem by AKhaus

I configure this space, this place, this dream
how far and distant those mountains seem
her white dress lays on the brow of the mare as she rides through the sand
top of the dune she flies
only the sun can catch her crawling towards the sky
a whisper upon the cloud
she follows the voice to another rune
the riddle plays as she wanders in the waves of yet another night
down crumbles the wall
sand to glass
she peers into another vessel sound, vibrating in her ear
the moon peels, unfolding a white wolf running across her plane
the water fills the box seemless in its form
she floats, she drifts above the high
