hear my echo

hear my echo

A Poem by AKhaus

if I could hate you I would
if I could fight you I would
but the thunder rumbling beneath my breath is enough to obliterate you
if I would stop myself I may not even begin to end this rapture
you had no idea how to find me
but as the mountains crashed and the fire blazed, you saw my image
I am but the smoke that consumes
I am but the air that plumes
I am the smallest and I am the nothing that fills it all
and with every shout I learn to escape these mighty caverns
no eternity can hold me down
