essence of life

do you know when the rain falls and slows across your face, I have only absolute envy for it's flow

I can only embrace the moment that I taste the sound of your soul as it vibrates in the morning light

to breathe through these fingertips as they gently grace your skin, just barely touching 

lips to hearts and minds to souls, I wish to never separate from any of this 

entangled as we were, we had but a second to realize such heaven 

no moon, no sun, no sleep and no wake 

suspended between such worlds you have stopped time, made the space cease to expand
