If I’m right, then you’re wrong,

And I just can’t have that,

Coz its not enough for me,

I’m helpless- on the side of the road, there’s no space for me to breathe,

Nowhere that I can go,

So, tell me,

There’s no one for me,

Nobody’s gonna find me,

.

I’m stuck in this hole that I found somehow,

I took pity on it,

Then I jumped down, looked around,

“Hey is anybody here?

Can anybody hear me?”

.

I wondered for a while why nobody was answering,

Then a shadow loomed over me, and I looked up and saw myself,

She had an evil grin on her face and told me “This is what you get for intermission”,

I wondered out loud “why are you doing this to me, how come you wanna see me bleed, do you not know how it works, you just take a sharp blade and press it in”,

She said, “this is the only way I know that I’m breathing”,

If you take the last stanza literally, it appears this offering is about self mutilation. Otherwise, I would say the speaker has come to the point of taking responsibility for the way life is unfolding.

thank you for your comment, i didnt think of it that way, when i write poetry, it all comes out of me, sometimes it doesnt,

this is supposed to be about me making a past mistake worse by trying to fix it
