the wrong way turns rightA Poem by FaeryQueenoh- callous sea! mangy puddles made by you and me.. what of the shells? and the burrowed hole created by eternity? the great fishes don the new dawn as if they were eagerly meager to watch it set afire the horizon. relentlessly swimming along the bayou and catching prey- food ! oh how they hunger so. give it a rest, some have it worse than us, nothing to lose, so they lost everything!! tell the coast guard stories of the days you went out fishing.. maybe take his coat or someone else’s, just to find a living.. don’t forget me- don’t forget all the ones you left behind in the search for your heart! you said you didn’t want us* anymore- that you didn’t need us anymore, well we’ll see how true that is.. - it’s been so long since i’ve had you for myself. what if i forgot? what if i forgot to mention all the s**t i’ve had invented? and the matters of the heart- what if they don’t matter no more? [currently, i am writing a song; coz i feel the pain of the pain i’ve had to endure since we got back from our vacation.. didn’t know you came back and brought a knife with you. we didn’t see it the first time but you plunged it into me, on my right side. and then you took her away... you took her away from me and you made me the bad guy- oh honey, you don’t know what mess you made, this one calls for a little over the same mistake, you’re gonna want to take a big breath and sit yourself down- remove your crown. take down your frown. it’s way too hot to be clowning around.] **************[]************* [i would’ve used “me”, but sometimes i use us because of my dissociated mind.... someone told me that having DID doesn’t count for me to use they/them pronouns, but i prefer it this way] © 2019 FaeryQueen |
