“Me and my words” khatoon hazara ||| 6:50pm tue. 4.2.19

I forget sometimes that what I say has meaning

And those meanings sometimes mean something

I’ve always been using my words as careless toys to play with when I’m bored

But in poetry

There’s so much damage you can do

And i wish not to do any damage

Just.... feel the power in my words coz I can never feel them enough

Feel the juice

The melancholy feeling

The sadness

Join me in my world

In my trek on top of mountains

Past oceans

Up walls

Tell me you see me in my poems 

For whatever it’s worth 

It’ll be better than the alternative: sinking ships and drowning ice
