the yule tides are shaking

A Poem by FaeryQueen

“The Yule Tides Are Shaking”

<Pound, pound, and pound!>

it is like a symphonic cacophony.

I am like a symphonic cacophony.

My head spins and it spins, and I feel so out of control with natural causes of death; like a plague!

I am a plague!

Look at me! Me! Here I am! “LOOK, LOOK!” I shout to the unborn sky, so premature is its hearing.

I am yet unknown. Yet untold. Unraveled. I am but a hushed dream. A silent whisper. A silent night. Merely a soul for someone to confide in. to find peace in. to feel lonely with. I am not a ghost. I am not a traveled road. Nor am I a sinful prose. Yet I feel awash with distaste and am blasphemed with misery.

I am all the forces of nature combined.

One blow from my sigh can fold a skyscraper.

Can even... can even... make fragile hearts die... can even... can... even...

can.
Even.

Can I?
