Skinny Heart / Unicorn PeopleA Poem by FaeryQueenotsSkinny Heart / Unicorn People The lonely bell tolls the quarter moon, I escape into the night with closed eyes and an outstretched hug, desperate for a calm calling, as I slowly fall into the unknown, I am inescapably watching my past mistakes dawn the little hope I have left in my heart; there she goes! An ember in the flame, she ignores all the bloodlustery calls and keeps falling, not daring anyone of anything, selfless in her last moments, she calls to me, she says, "Will you not repent?" I smile, a flush of petals embracing my cheeks, "This is my redemption."
