Victor Over the Demon!!!A Poem by FaeryQueenots I am walking nice, Leaves and maple trees, the scent of spring swirl like dazed fairies', I see, over yonder, a hint of the airtight past, Seething, I do not stop, do not let it attack me from any angle, I hold my lover's hand firmly, and stand my grounds, for they are numerous, due to my pace, or speed, in which that I am travelling, We are a good distance apart, I can see he is alone, my past, He is grinning, as if he was the oldest among us, but he is mistaken, this time, it is my lover that is oldest among us, His grin fades into a half-smirk and then into a whimpering pout as he's just witnessed what he underestimated, those many moons ago, "Him?" he scoffs, my lover's gaze is unfazed, instead he raises an eyebrow, "I am sorry; who are you?" He turns to me and smiles lopsided, "Tell him who I am." I smile with a tint of disgust, "Nobody; you're nobody." I look at my lover and he grins, ear to ear, looking at the [--] cake. "Nobody, you're nobody!" my lover says, finally, pushing him aside to walk past him, He grabs my wrist and whispers in my ear, but I twist his wrist before an utter reeks out, he yelps in pain and curses my name, I leave a whole hearted grin onto him and, with my lover entangled in me, I walk away, shamelessly.
