All On My Own

All On My Own

I am in love.
Poetry has taken my heart to new heights.
I am afraid.
Bare; open; vulnerable... it is painful.
I am hopeful.
Others will know me better because of my turmoil.
I am dazed.
Stuck in a dream, endless; looping.
---
But I will change: I will endure.
Tell me my faults are mine and I will take them on as my own.
All my flaws: tell me they are perfect, and I will relentlessly be myself, streaking colors of my patriotic flag flying high.
Time: tell me it is never going to stop, but I will still have hope for time travel... I just won't let it be real; for messing with any past molecule may cause a minute explosion, imploding upon millions of other particles of time acceleration.
---
You are my Heaven.
My own secret Paradise.
My world is shiny, new, open, unpaved.
I...
I can't let them go, these secrets that dye my hair.
Like orbs stuck in transit, they dot my skin, outlining my collarbone.
Meshed only by your touch.
And all I'll ever need would be just that, your touch.
