A Poem by FaeryQueen

I can still taste the rain, even though it rained last night.
I am here; a night later, outside, and I still smell the stench of everything wonderous.
Here it comes again; the rain; the clouds are getting heavier.
Sprinkles of salt fall like rain on my shoulders and I realize something important.

~

There is a war going on inside of my brain.
Little things set me off.
My temper is at an all-time-high.
I can't tolerate those which I have before.
I am getting weary.
My patience is running thin.

~

And yet, the rain suddenly washes away everything there is to wash away; the pain, the sadness, the destruction.

*
I am a harmful solution that resides in only me.
I can carry no more than what I have already.
Ye Weary Soul, Take Thee Away Into The Unknown, Substantially Drowning In What I Call Humanity.

Excellent thought process and delightfully visual. Nothing like a refreshing, healing rain ...
