A Poem by FaeryQueen

They don't want what's inside; but they yearn for the meat between their teeth; their pressured heartbeats
Clink..
Clink.
CLINK!!
Their raspy voices; evident of their lackadasical lives, leading no one into no where
They eat and eat and eat; the meat drowning into their teeth, their teeth drowning into the meat
They hunger for more
Thirsty for everything
They devour human souls, the ones that care too much
The ones like them
The ones too oblivious to see the soul being ripped out of them; their words, cutting and cutting
They want to die.
They sit and wait, patiently
They devour
They consume
They want.. to.. die..
Their raspy voices echo into the night
Vibrating the very fabric of Time himself
Bending and breaking every tree until each and every one of them is petrified in a bowing position
One blow from their mouths and all nature is frozen
The ground below in which they walk on trembles and crumbles innardly
They've built caverns and whole universes only to tear them straight down
They've watched the world collapse on its' own only to blink no eyes, shed no tears
They travel in groups
They rest no bones, they shelter only themselves
They're mistaken for cults, covens, the like
They're insane
Sane
Mentally abused
Tortured
Stable
Unstable
Traveling down cablecars and trip wires
They have a sense of humanity with them
Gosh, how they care for it
Like a baby, cradling it in the crevices of their hearts
They lose their minds
Lose track of time
...
..
.
