"Before You Leave"

the nights are longer now

the stars dance like things too far from their spectrum

the shadows are growing in length and quantity

i dont care to die alone

because that is what you did

that is what you wished to do

as for me

you breathed your last request in a whisper

it still can be heard in the wind

depending on what direction you are facing

you can hear different notes being played

the different words you said

the sounds are piercing

like a metallic clang

an eruption of sound in my ear

i do not care to revise and edit 

because this and all other poems belonging to me

should have the privledge of being vulnerable as i am

should be able to express my being in them

should be able to expose my emotions as well

i wish i could've told you how much i loved you

but you died before i did

before i even got a chance to get up and walk over to you

you died

now why did you do that?

without any warning?

spread your wings again

breath again

move again

the wind misses you

and so do i
