"Dissociation"

KH

Who am I?

Where am I?

When am I?

Imagine a train station; empty, quiet, sullen, somber, modest.

You're there, the only one, and then, a sudden short of breath; you're suffocating!

Someone's coming!

But this train station (hold on to this train station, do not let it slip into the milky darkness).

This train station is empty, the air in it is clear for breathing.

But somehow, this train station is getting congested, slowly, one by one, the personas fall in line.

There is something well on its' way. A sense of separation. But it comes surprising at it's own pace. You won't even be able to figure it out; the change. The change, your breath, your speed in which you walk at, the verbal association, the language, vocabulary, all of it will change. But by the time it does, you've already invested in a multitude of geysers: their water, spewing out at the top of their heads; your mind splitting from the constant change. The need to feel as if you're accepted. The paranoia will set it all in perspective.

You'll understand, as if suddenly, a light has gone off in your mind.

"Oh!

So this

Is what it feel like

To die

To almost

Feel

A sudden change

A sudden

Change

A sense of the word

Your being

Torn from the constant editing

Editing

Flaws

Editing

Everything wrong with you

Constantly

Changing

A new life every

Single day

But the disappointment of figuring it all out then

At that moment

Discovering you haven't really changed

You've stayed

The same

But your delusions

Will make you believe otherwise

Oh, those delusions

They have a mind of their own then

At that time

When you've caved

When you've let your guard down after

Hoping

That they'd go away on their own

Oh, but that

Is when they are at their strongest

They

Delusion

Your delusions

As if they were human

They are not human

Your delusions

Are not human

But your human instincts will tell you have faith

And your human instincts will tell you to believe that soon

This

Will all

Be over

Soon

Someday

Oh, those who think they can outsmart the ones who have been past outsmarted

The ones who have learned of its' malicious ways

The student becomes the teacher

And at that moment

You are no longer validated

Because you have let it in too deep

And after letting it in so deep

What do you think will rid you of them?

Medication?"
