"Déjà vu in the Third Degree"

KH

To everyone and everything I have ever encountered in my life; I ask of you this simple question:

Who am I?

  • A hollowed-out shell waiting for my resurrection

  • An impatience growing on a fallen tree limb

  • The verity of eternity's being

Give me the truth, kind sirs' and misses', give me the truth because for some unknown concept of the world, I've gone missing.

Tell me how would I do that when I am right here, behind the screen of a brightly lit dream.

A dream, which plays over and over and over again; my head, oh, my precious memories inside of it being rattled around, shook and shaken, broke and broken, this cannot go on.

There must be a song I haven't sung, a role I haven't played, tricks I haven't tried, tears I haven't cried.

There must be something I can do which will take these falsified information and incarcerate them.

Because look what they made of me; so weak all that's stopping me from dropping to my knees and crying is the fact that maybe there's a 1% chance of something differently happening, something different, that hasn't happened already. Something I don't remember happening.
