"The Sun Went Down in Tokyo"A Story by FaeryQueenots"The Sun Went Down in Tokyo" KH
I'm trying to picture it; the sun going down in Tokyo. My eyes are closed and my breathing slows. I am concentrating on the gold hues and the flakes of cherry blossoms as they fall, one by one as the breeze waves goodbye to another day. I'm picturing an ocean covered by the memories of the people there. The rain that sometimes falls, reminding them all that something exciting is yet to come. My breath gets caught in my throat as I think about the walks; people holding hands, kissing one another, saying things, whispering to their friends, laughing.
I can't help it; the sun is slowly fading. The clouds have rolled past her; covering for her. I didn't realize imaginations had limits'; I wish it didn't. The trees are becoming blurry. The red streaks in the sky is blending in with the pink petals, falling off of the cherry blossom tree. When I open my eyes, the sounds I once heard echoes into oblivion; hiding somewhere I think I will be able to find if need be.
