Monster

Monster

A Poem by FaeryQueen
"

inspired by Emilly (ots)

"

Everyone around me says I act a certain way,

And that makes them afraid,

They don’t know what’s inside of my heart,

My hands curl at the slightest sound of bells,

I moan whenever the morning sun hits my face,

My eyes seem to glaze over in constant hungry thought,

Monster,

M-m-monster-er-er?

Me-e- M-m-me?

Mu-On-stur,

Monster,

They said,

I was a Muh-On-Stur,

Well,

If I’m a monster, be gentle,

If I’m a monster, my heart is more fragile than a humans’,

Talk very softly and look me in the eyes,

Tell me I’m beautiful,

Before I start to cry.
