Running Away

Running Away

Do that, of which I know of you to do

Make me feel as if every single tear drop of mine is non-existent

Vaporize them all away with the single wave of your lips

I adore you

And yet, at times when there is nothing else to do but to think of you, I despise you

Because you invade my mind so frequently, and I do not mind it at all when you do

But it is that of the matter of time that consumes me with concern

“How can you tease me so with fragments of fantasies?”

Fragments that I intend to make whole with the verity of my being?

Fragments that I chose onto myself to fill in the gaps, the many missing pieces of the truth that we all seek

I see you in my mind’s eye often enough

And often enough I daze off into the outermost depth of space and I do think a lot

I think about… what it is that I think about so often

And that is you

And the very minute of our appearance to one another

In that is when we will be filled with so much joy and happiness

But one thing, out of many, seeks to destroy this inevitable truth, one thing and I do indeed know of this threat

What do you think, firstly,
so that I may branch of off it my own theories?

It is indeed the trinkets that we hold so closely in our hearts, that one desire to never let go of it and it never letting go of us

We see this truth so closely then many do

We see this, yet absolutely have no solution

We see this, and yet we are condoned to their nuisance

Apologetically, I cry out, ‘do not stop giving to us, but rather, stop restricting us.’
