Everyone But Me

Everyone But Me

A Poem by FaeryQueen
"

on the spot

"

I need you

More than you could’ve ever thought I did

I need, someone to hold me down, while you’re away, flapping your wings, somewhere, while you, you just fly elsewhere, leaving me, to fend

For myself

Is this right?

Is this wrong?

Do I care?

Do I need to?

Nothing, among nothing; dust in my eyes

I am blinded

By the selfish desires of my heart

But I can overcome this; however, I do not want to, I am incapable to do such things

Of all things that spell my name

I cannot lose a winning game

But when that game is rigged

Then I can lose

When that game

Is run by burly, officers

Who ask of me to degrade myself to the lowest being that I ever could’ve been?

Then I can lose

I can lose

This game

That everyone wins

Everyone

But me
