Improvidence

Improvidence

A Poem by FaeryQueen
"

on the spot

"

The quiet

Seems to be too loud

The silence

Is louder

I see you

Staring at me from a thick tube

We’re distances a part

And you’ve no idea just how much I don’t care

I really don’t

And we could laugh about this in the morning, sit back and just stare at one another, regretting last night

But here, in this moment, let’s shut up

Let’s zip our lips

And just not care

About anything

About anyone

But ourselves

Let’s be selfish

And stay up late; because the moon has insomnia tonight

I don’t want to be aware

Of my distinct surroundings

Let me worry about all my problems in the morning

Right now, in this moment

I don’t care at all

And you seem really dangerous to me right now
