And they sit, without words, without thought.
Spinning their words like fairy wisp, high above heir heads, where no one dare look. Fearful of the silence, they busy themselves with what was given to them, instead of talking, words filling with words; useless, like air filling empty space. They look down, tapping their fingers on screens that no one knows how to work. Reading alien-like symbols, on lines that seem too short for their attention. Not looking at one another, but looking at one another just the same. Their understanding diminishing with every prominent breath they take. A second passes, "Hey, what's the time?" One asks the other, and the time, in actuality, is not important when you are struggling for one last chance to say something you've been dying to say. You've been.... reprimanded from saying. "About 11:40" A reply, does it hurt? Does it hurt, knowing you are not a part of what I am a part of? And I am a part of something so grand, only if you just opened your... and then I breathe, knowing this will only cause more trouble, me, sitting here, next to a couple of strangers, telling them what I'm thinking about, this very second. Who am I to... do anything but be a part of their circle, temporarily. Because that is what we're doing, every time we are near someone we do not know, we simultaneously enter their circle of integrity, and if they find it in their hearts to share with us what they're feeling, then we are truly blessed and that, is what we're truly living for, to hear about the journeys' of others, are we not?
