inching

feeling

faster

with every breath

stop

time freezes

and i'm lost in the moment

losing balance

i trip over my words

and the time resumes its hasty zoom

right into your arms

my knees

cave in

my eyes

look up to the twinkly lights

i'm imagining that this is nighttime

and it's 11pm at night

the stars are calling our names

and my head is spinning

so many thoughts in my head

i wonder what i feel

let me reiterate

heart beats

faster

losing footing

on reality

i don't care

this is how i breathe

crazy and free

stand up tall
