"Broken Lillie's"

"Broken Lillie's"

A Poem by FaeryQueen

on the spot

"
"Broken Lillie's'"

Nothing left to be, to bleed
is another thing altogether, to speak, those broken wings.
Shifted eyes, averted, diverted, distracted by your light.

Waves, rolling, as if on a scene, wind, pushes back
to reveal what I've been missing.

Heavy hearts beat, restlessly.

Outside, the wind is chilling, don't wrap your arms
around me, I shiver from the inside, when you smile.

There's nothing left, my smile, broken glass, careful, you may bleed.

The treasures, you found inside of me, one night, I tried to believe, but
I couldn't.

I never wanted to live here, inside this myriad, mirrors echoing sounds I've heard

There is nothing to do, nothing to hold me,
I am slowly falling, a clueless, in a world
full of clues. Someone shout out, what I've
been thinking. What I've been feeling:

Lost.
