"Tinged Pink"A Poem by FaeryQueenon the spot"Tinged Pink" Happily married to the undergrowth. The sun, its' groom. Joyously, skipping, it remembers of its' frolicking days. Where the dun, empty sky used to beam proudly, faded teeth and all. A mirage of memories shouting in the sky. Throughout the emptiness, the whispering sounds are heard. Faded past the bristles of bushes that used to brush your calves, walking back to it now, you felt the thorny needles prick and stab your skin, a little more aggressive. The cherry taste of the night fall is drenched in wetness, the moist rain, like sweetness once every few cherished years, the sugary pink tinge washes into your mouth. Refreshing, lightly, your perspective of the world. Dusting the starry figures with dozens of roses. Leaving a sweet trail of minerals, falling gently.
