The Devil's Curse

The Devil's Curse

A Poem by FaeryQueen
"

on the spot

"
where to now?
as i shout my good words
they sound
a dozen rose pedals
shower me
no echo

i am hiding
but what am i hiding from?
something i thought
that was so greatly attributed
to my fear
is now ashes
and soot
before my eyes

nothing is everything
and everything is nothing
once you have it
what is there to do

with nothing
you can have everything
and with nothing
there is no love
just a giant hole
in your chest
because let's face it

you won't need a heart where you'll be
where we'll all be

nothing
to close our eyes with
our lids
a masked intoxication
to our senses

nothing to shield ourselves with
the inner body is self suffering
its said enough
but you've never heard their cryings' in the night
their pleasurable cries

despair
and hurt

let them all suffer
damned be all
that let your blood run cold
and your story left untold

no one needs to know about a girl
that's almost gone insane
no one cares about her
no one cares about what she dreams about
no one dare ask her
because she can kill you
if you ask her

but she needs to know
about herself
and about me
and about everyone else that loves her

but she's been gone too long
she loves it there

let their knives plunge themselves in your skin
the blood
let it turn cold
as they've you
the blue trickles
of tears
that is streaming down my eyes
let it sound against those pedals
as they shower me
i fade
with their bell ringing
and their merry laughter
never to be seen again

Once one has it all, what do we do with it? Very interesting thought. Valentine
