beggar women

beggar women

A Poem by FaeryQueen

i miss you
oh
mother of my heart
you have no home
nor have you begotten a son
or daughter
you have no shelter
but you can stay
here
away from the dark
come in from the rain
i will be your shelter
oh beggar women
don't you know
i am the messiah of your people

Very nice wording and poem!
Well done!

This is a sad poem, too true of the reality around us. Too many people are now homeless and not being or choosing not to be helped. Sweet and kind though because you are offering to take them in here in this poem. Come in to my house and I shall give you shelter, sit at my table and you shall eat and have good food. All it takes is one kind act to change the world. Thanks and have a great day.

this is a sad poem
but yet beautiful

i liked this one for two reasons; it was cleanly written without jumbked metaphors and misguided word choice, and secondly it was about a kind of woman I knew well

A sad account of how our heart goes to such people who are victims of fate.
Good one!
