Dense

Dense

A Poem by FaeryQueen
"

on the spot

"
there's a soft hum
i can hear
in my head
and i need a more
dense situation
to be in
because the fragile atmosphere
might break
any minute
and we all might collapse

let's ricochet
down to the minuscule atom
we knew ourselves to be
it seems
its been so long
since i knew how to breathe
what about the trees
can they breathe too?
or am i the only one?

we're all having is too much
and when you've run out of luck
the only prize
earned
is having to watch
and watch
our useless efforts
sink into the bottomless pit
we all knew existed

Author's Note

FaeryQueen
in a fit of emotion
this blurted out
a stream of words
that clash together
like the Ides of March and Ceaser

a linear thread of nonsensical jimble jangle

I warn against purposely seeking out the dark. Many believe that to move past something they must first fully understand it. But like the like the light there is no end to the dark. You must decide to move to the what makes you feel joy, peace or jubilation and leave the undiscovered dark a mystery. A thoughtful write, Khatoon:)
