A Little Swing

A Little Swing

A Poem by FaeryQueen
"

on the spot (for him)

"
let's go
with the old classic
the black and blue
 and red and white
look at me
i have my new dress on
it's flinging
swinging
ringing
i'm singing
as i swirl
and twirl
and whirl

fast paced
tapping shoes
the sound of the band playing in the background
let's go way too fast
until i get dizzy
let's go way too fast
moving our hips to a different century
let's take it back

let's never take anything serious
don't make this short
i love you
let's keep dancing
even if it takes our breath away

I would suggest making the font just a tad smaller. Other than that as always a wonderful poem, great ideas, smooth flow. I love love poems, as one could so easily relate to the topic. Thanks for sharing this beautiful piece and have a wonderful day.
