And They Wait

And They Wait

A Poem by FaeryQueen
"

on the spot

"
they wait
by the small child within me
they wait
for me to come back to where i was

that little girl
was me
before i became
before i entailed within me a sense of
something dangerous

they wait
for all that it's worth
for me to come back home
for me
to come back home
for me
for me

waiting
is so deviating
why do they wait?
what pleasures await them if they wait?

they're waiting
soon
i may become insane
but they'll keep waiting
by that child
the little girl
who is screaming
holding on to mother's skirt tails

i can nurture you better than she ever could've
 come here
sweet child
come here
please, i'm losing to the one thing i don't want to lose to
myself

come here
before i lose you too

sweet veins in my pure skin
bleed
burst
succumb to the oneness of the unknown
before i see reality
numb
i'm numb
good
good
i've gone

who are you?
why are you screaming, dear child?
let me lose myself to the oneness of the unknown
