Once in a Lifetime

Once in a Lifetime

A Poem by FaeryQueen

the sky run cold
with the stories the moon told
the rain
won't fall anymore
god is mad at as
that we corrupt
ourselves
& so
when the rain falls
like tiny hearts
it did pelt our hide
bur for only a short while
god gave us time to repent
so god won't be mad
& that only happens
once in a lifetime

You go philosophical quickly in this write...yet the intent of the meaning in point blank and gives to the key issues for the reader to come to terms with the brevity of this verse...
