A love poem

EYES

When we met

I had no idea

That my life would change

That I would find a love that is real.

 

One look into your eyes

And I was taken in

I could see inside your soul

And I wanted to still your fears

 

When you looked at me

I knew you could see my heart

You could see all the sad places

And the hidden secret parts

 

Your love is changing me

And healing my pain and sorrow

I thank God that you found me

And I look forward to all of our tomorrows!
