Magic wand.

Magic wand.

A Poem by Fairy Khan

Tell me if ever the heart stops
from the grief, the hurt, the love?
Then tell me again why I mustn't be forlorn,
like the moon shining above?

I see the lights, the stars, the flames,
and the ruins left behind,
but tell me why you only see
the burdens of my mind?

The world, it moves madly on,
and leaves the likes of me beyond,
but I need no saving, no one to wait,
I don't need a magic wand.

A message of peace. How one should see the world in distress. Taking a magic wand in the hand. Good work 👍

I picked this poem for it's title but it was no miracle in the first line,a heart stop without love, deep so far not even a magic wand can help.
Thank you for sharing.

I love such sad poems. They harmonize with my soul, which loves difficult moral threads. The poem is short, contains few words, but the punch line made a great impression on me. I'm glad you asked for my opinion. Greetings.

Thank you for your remarks.
A sad poem. We have to live the sadness, the grief, the lost love. We can't magic it away. It is painful, but I am a firm believer that you grow stronger as a result of the knocks in life. Mother nature helps. She is a healer. All grief and sadness soften with time. Good to see a post from you Fairy. Touching words.

Thank you Chris. You are so kind.
This could very well be talking to the muse..."why you only see the burdens of my mind"
the muse might tell us not to be forlorn, but it seems to only let us write sad poetry...
I really feel this piece,
