A fifteen word story.

A fifteen word story.

A Poem by Fairy Khan

The flowers were dancing,
blush and green;
then someone else's winter came,
and they froze.

This has a mesmerising quality to it as it starts so soft and peaceful with the images of nature at its best then suddenly this is killed off in the next two lines. The analogy of someone who has hope and is let down in love perhaps seems woven in to this story too.

...”someone else’s winter”
A door in this poem that stops me,
Moves me to think and feel
Enigmas I savor, yours long and wide

I hope you are fine. Whatever it is, just know that it'll pass.
Interesting experiment! I love how you don't skimp on meaning, even tho your words are sparse. So many times in life, people let someone else's change of season kill their flowers. It's a lesson in a nutshell (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Something so promising was cut short. Death can do that. A fine piece of brevity Fairy.
